During the war in 1400, he was a mercenary assassin who took on the task of eliminating the shoguns of various provinces. He was a total nightmare for all of his opponents. Anyone who could pull him away would all be defeated.

He had taken countless lives from the war until he became a ‘devil in human form’, causing him to start killing people for no reason. Until one day, while the whole village was hunting Kuro, he escaped into a temple in the northern part of the land and deceived the abbot to help ordain him as a disguise to escape from the villagers.

But with his thirst for slaughter, late at night, he would become a murderer who would go on secret killing sprees in the village. And then one night while traveling, he met a monk in the middle of the forest. At first glance, he decided to kill the monkto keep his mouth shut, but no matter how hard he tried to slash the monk, he couldn’t inflict any injuries. Eventually, he became tired and his shouts became hoarse from his killing efforts. He sat down and gave up.

And that’s when he had to pay for his karma. He allowed the villagers to swarm with sticks and beat him to death. Then Kuro’s soul was taken to the afterlife and his soul descended to the underworld. The consequence of his last moments of repentance made him a demon imprisoned in an ice prison for only a few days. He was then chosen by the gods to be an Angel of Death. He became famous as he never spoke to anyone. Time passed and the entire Council of Gods appointed Kuro as a member of the Vantalamp clan.
